Souper Pitch is back! Souper Pitch has seed funded some of Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s most successful community projects such as Heartwalk in 2016, KB Community Garden in 2015, creative producer E13 in 2014, and much more. At this social event patrons have the chance to invest money and energy into local Kalgoorlie-Boulder projects, innovators, and creators.

331 Ideas Hub (a community maker-space and incubator pilot on Hannan Street) is co-hosting the evening with community advocate We Love KB.

Now is the time to pitch your passionate ideas!

Souper Pitch is modelled on a growing successful international movement calling themselves “The Soup Network”, having success investing in small projects in local communities around the world.

Q: How does this work? A: A group of people come together to share a meal and that meal is sold for an affordable price. All the profit from that meal is given as a grant to support creative project(s).  Everyone purchases ticket shares as a vote to determine who receives their share of the grant. The grants are awarded at the discretion of the customers.

People pitching their project to seek support from the Souper Pitch night will ask for something, stating clearly what it is they are after and why. The audience gets to decide which one they support.

This is a great fun night where you can hear new ideas, meet new people, and savour delicious soup.
