A (Mostly) Veggie Affair
Join us to celebrate the partnerships between some of Chicago’s best restaurants and farmers throughout the Midwest! Try veggie-inspired dishes from over 20 Chicago chefs and mixologists, all featuring ingredients from Green City Market vendors. All proceeds from the event benefit the market’s Link Card Matching Program, so that shoppers across the city can access the healthy and sustainably-raised foods sold at the Green City Market.
Event participants include: The Nomad Food Company, Danke, Farmhouse, Local Foods, Travelle Kitchen + Bar, The Radler, Bad Hunter, Steadfast, Villains Chicago, Cochon Volant, Vie/Perennial Virant/Vistro, The Bristol, Blue Door Farm Stand, Café Selmarie, Presidio, Green Zebra, XOCO, Bang Bang Pie, Fancy Plants, Hoosier Mama Pie, and Floriole. Bar participants include Frontier, Wood, wine from Boisset Collection Wine, and five local breweries from Lakeshore Beverage. And more to come!
VIP tickets allow a limited number of guests early access to A (Mostly) Veggie Affair and a special reception from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. featuring a charcuterie spread from Chef Scott Manley of Danke, a veggie spread from Chef Dave Chapman of Green Zebra, and a specialty cocktail pairing.
