To take part in this positive campaign to raise awareness and to support your peers and staff, we have 12 spaces for a 2 day qualified course to become a Mental Health First Aider.
Including all resources, refreshments and set in a the heart of Bristol you will be supported by our qualified MHFA Trainer over 2 days to learn how to recognise and support others suffering with their mental health.
At the end of the 2 days, you will have:-
An in depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing
Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues
Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress
Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening
Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further support - whether that’s self-help resources, through their employer, the NHS, or a mix
Gain an MHFA Certificate, Resources and Manual
