This year, we're looking to reward the most dedicated bicycle commuter out there. That special commuter who wakes up on Bike To Work Day more stoked than a child on Christmas.

You mission, if you choose to accept it, is to visit as many Energizer Stations as possible between where you wake up, and where you go to work. Be warned; most Energizer Stations won't be accesible past 10am. To the early bird goes the spoils on Bike To Work Day.

The Rules:

- You MUST use a bike as your main form of transportation. Train, bus, and lightrail are fine as a supplement, but aboslutley NO car use.
- To document proof that you indeed did visit a station, take a photo and post to social media with #CowgirlBTWD. Each station is worth one point. Whomever accumulates the most points by the end of the day wins!
- On the day of the event, we will be annoucing certain locations as being worth DOUBLE the worth of a normal energize station. Be prepared. ;)
- The contest ends at 12pm on May 11th. We will announce our winner by 5pm the same day.
- There will be prizes to the top performer outside of all of the free food and swag they'll pick up along the way. Watch this event for updates.

Ready? Set? Go!

And we have a winner! Lloyd Cha acquired an unprecedented 13 points on his way into work this morning; not even counting the stops that weren't open/closed early on his ride! Thank you everyone for participating! Same time next year? 🚲❤️

Yikes, really? I almost gave up when I realized I ran out of time for the RideESSJ station. Thanks!

Last update! We hope you've got your routes planned, because we're going to make things just a little more interesting for our participants. ;) We've included a few acts that are worth extra points. Snap a photo for proof and tag #CowgirlBTWD along with the rest of your posts to be included in the running. The extra points are as follows: - Visiting Chromatic Coffee in Santa Clara is worth 2 points. - Catching Cyclelicious (Rich Masoner) himself in the streets. Rumor has it he'll be able to be found near the MLK Library around 7:30am. He's also worth 2 points. 3 points if you get a selfie. - Visiting 2nd Story Bakeshop. Free freshly baked Almond Crisp if you show your helmet! If you don't wear a helmet, tell them that Cowgirl said it's ok. ;) Worth 2 points(and an almond crisp!). - There is only one Energizer Station in the East Side of San Jose. It's being sponsored by our friends at RideESSJ, and is worth a whopping FIVE points. Show them some love! - If you somehow manage to visit an Energizer Station that is the only one of its kind within a 5-mile radius, you also get FIVE points! This helps even out the odds for our friends in Pacifica, Half Moon Bay, Morgan Hill, and Gilroy. We'll announce our winner on this event and in social media tomorrow night once we're able to sift through all the photos and count up points. Don't forget to tag #CowgirlBTWD, and have an awesome Bike To Work Day! <3

A few years ago, I hit 9 stations on my way to PAB. That's a lot of Hobbee's coffee cake. I think I could easily do more... this sounds fun.

"But Cowgirl! Where can I find an Energizer Station?" Glad you asked! There are over 120 Energizer Stations in Santa Clara and San Mateo County this year. Check out this handy map to get some help planning your course for the big day:
