2019 WORLD TOURISM DAY NATIONS HOSTS: CAMBODIA AND DJIBOUTI

The Global Tourism Institutions: EUROPEAN COUNCIL ON TOURISM AND TRADE and EUROPEAN TOURISM ACADEMY had decided to select: Cambodia and Djibouti as the host nations for 2019 WORLD TOURISM DAY celebrations of European Council on Tourism and Trade.

ECTT President Professor Dr. Anton Caragea has signed the decree to that effect in December 30, 2018.

  World Tourism Day is a day which is celebrated on September 27th of each year and is designed to bring attention to the importance of tourism to the international community.

Countries all over the world, both big and small, depend on tourism to for its economic survival and to highlight their cultural, social and political values.

The 2019 celebration of WORLD TOURISM DAY will be hold under European Council on Tourism and Trade aegis in the cities of PHNOM PENH and DJIBOUTI testifying to the vitality of tourism in Asia and Africa.
