Indoor Winter Cycling Training sessions are an effective way to build your cardio and strength, improving your fitness over the winter months so you can 'spring' into action when the better weather arrives!
Bikes will be mounted onto Turbo Trainers and you'll ride with a small group led by a cycle instructor, at your own pace by setting the resistance level to suit your level of fitness.
Draw on the group's energy and ride in time to the beat of your favourite workout tunes whilst watching a large projected video of a local ride.
The training will end in a Spring-time 'graduation ride' - a led group cycle in the great outdoors!
You'll have access to our bikes which will be mounted onto Turbo Trainers.
Indoor Winter Cycling Training can be done in normal comfortable/gym clothes and shoes, so no specialised cycling gear is required. Cycling shorts will make the ride more comfortable but they’re not essential. We'd recommend bringing a bottle of water with you.
IMPORTANT: These Indoor Winter Training sessions will occur weekly on Tuesdays from 3 March to 24 March. By booking onto this event, your name will be automatically put down for all 4 sessions.
For best results, we recommend attending all 4 sessions as listed above.
Young Enterprise Scotland (YES) facilities are in the same area of Rouken Glen Park as NDT Cycling's bike workshop. Parking facilities are available at Rouken Glen Garden Centre and it's a short walk through the park to YES. You might this video helpful in finding us.
