For the first time in the history of the African National Congress, this year the ruling party has seven candidates vying for the top position.

702 and Karima Brown are hosting a series of Town Hall discussions with each of the candidates, leading up to the much anticipated December elective conference. You can watch highlights from previous town halls here.

This Thursday 7th December, Karima will host Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa for the two hours of The Karima Brown Show. You are invited to join the broadcast as part of her live audience from 7:30pm to 10pm at Primedia Broadcasting, 5 Gwen Lane, Sandton.

Seats are limited so should you like to attend, please RSVP on contact@702.co.za

By providing a platform for the various presidential candidates to engage with ordinary members of society as well as key interested stakeholders of various sectors, 702 continues to shed light on the issues that affect all South Africans.

What is Cyril gonna do if he losses the campaign of ANC President bid?Is he and COSATU going to contest national elections by 2019.Is this the fall of Bastille. The cravy train is nearing the cul d'e sac,the rail is broken. Cyril is a sweet talker without implementation like his boss JZ

And my question for Ramaphosa is that as far we know that most of ANC leadrs they think that everything they said is pefect from their mouth only and my concerned is that as far as they are the corrupt masters who will make sure that they are not corrupting the voters of branches so that one of you must be a must lose

Cyril is the mastermind of corruption. Do u have any idea how he accumulated his billions in such a short period of time? He won't even mind sacrificing the lives of poor workers just to protect his own business interests. To me, everyone in the ANC is no better devil

My question is, if Ramaphosa loss next week will he come back in 2022 to try his lucky again. May he consider going back to busines full time or will he be continuing serving the ANC lead goverment. If he win what's he going to do with Labour brokers, corruption, employment, falling Rand and etoll? Those who didn't support him us he going to consider them in his government. Is he going to continue with NDP and Bricks as party of the ANC Policy.

I hope for the sake of this country and the people of SA: the presidential hopefuls will put our interests first! We are in this mess because of the outgoing president who ignored every possible sign that we're going down the gutter! I personally don't trust NDZ @ all, despite the fact that she is educated because she did nothing for AU except dressing up like " a West-African" matriach.......! And we'll be stuck with the Zuma surname for as long as we live! Zimbabwe mini-coup is what is needed in Mzanzi....... It averted Grace from keeping the Mugabe flame on; Iyeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrr.........
