➽ Biography :

Perle Lama was born January 20, 1984 in Fort-de-France in Martinique. Since the age of 9 years old, she lives in Paris. Perle is the daughter of Jocelyne Béroard, famous singer of the group Kassav.

In 1999, the clicks. Perle won the first prize JM Harmony intended to reveal young talents in the West Indies, resuming the Queen hit "Bohemian Rhapsody". Her success allowed her to record a first album in 2000 titled eight titles "Challenger". The title "Akwarel the sé taw", the first single from "Challenger" is crowned by the SACEM prize for best zouk 2000.

In the aftermath, Pearl recorded "Sere mwen" a duet with another Prince of zouk, Thierry Cham. In May 2001, the singer releases his second solo album, "Pearl etc.".

In 2002 the young artist participated in the casting of the show Popstars on M6 but was not selected to participate in the final. This did not prevent him from being requested and give voice to many compilations ( "Zouk Sensations", "More Vibes").

Moreover, in 2003 and in 2006, Pearl received the award for best female performer of the SACEM. In 2006, the singer returns to the front of the stage with " Mizikasoleil".

In this third installment very bright, she mixes all her musical influences: soul, reggae and R’n’B.
