Jeff Young, P.Eng, B.A.Sc.

  • Currently Industrial Estimating Manager for Trotter & Morton Group of companies, serving Water & Wastewater, Oil & Gas,
  • Experienced in project management, estimating, scheduling, in heavy civil infrastructure bidding and contracting: Bid, Win, Run!
  • Former Estimation manager for Vista Projects Ltd, EP Firm responsible for design and construction support of oil and gas facilities, well-pads, and pipelines for Cenovus (FCCL), Husky, Devon, ConocoPhillips Surmont, Imperial Oil (Aspen)
  • Produced all classes of estimate from conceptual and control to unit price estimating and execution support
  • Supported over $3.3B of completed greenfield and $200M of brownfield from Project Sanction through completion
  • Construction background includes bid pursuit (P3, negotiated, Lump Sum, Unit Rate tender) to $250MM and on-site project execution of airport improvements, interchanges, and municipal road works to $20MM.
  • Joined Board of AACE Chinook-Calgary Section in 2009, Past President

Mustansir Raj, P.Eng

  • Mustansir has over 30 years’ experience in estimating, project controls, and construction management in the petrochemical and oil and gas industries. .
  • Worked with Klöckner (KHD), SABIC, Bantrel, Jacobs Canada, Devon and Altran in various positions from Project Engineer to Manager Estimating.
  • Mustansir is currently working as Senior Estimator with Canadian Naturals (CNRL).
  • Mustansir has been active with AACE since 1994. He served as the Director Region 1 (AACE Canada President) in 2005, Section President in 2016 and currently serving as Director Certification of AACE Chinook‐Calgary Section.
  • Mustansir has facilitated as instructor numerous CEP and CCP workshops for Chinook-Calgary Section
