Experience the world's oldest living culture in the heart of SydneyThe Royal Botanic Garden Sydney offers an opportunity for local, domestic and international visitors to learn about the richly diverse history and culture of the Aboriginal People of Australia.The Gardens were an important ceremonial site for many of the Sydney Aboriginal Nations, and home to the Cadigal people of the Eora Nation. Come along and experience Wogganmagule (Farm Cove) and its surrounds and learn about tradtional lifestyles including a diverse array of bush foods, the ample fresh water and a plentiful supply of seafood from the harbour. It was paradise for the local Aboriginal people for thousands of years.The Aboriginal Heritage Tour offered by the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney enables visitors an opportunity to experience the rich culture and food sources of Aboriginal people within Australia. If there is an extreme weather warning from the Bureau of Meterorology we will inform you as soon as possible and provide a full refund or transfer. We do not provide refunds if you choose to not attend due to weather.Do you have a student/concession/child price?The Aboriginal Heritage Tour is $41 per person. Children 7 years and under are free.Where is the meeting point?Please meet your guide at the Garden Shop/Information Booth in the centre of the garden behind the restaurant. Please click here to view the location on Google Maps.Can I pay on the day?Bookings are preferred online so that our guide can be ready to welcome you on the day. If you cannot book online we can accept Visa or MasterCard payments on the day only. We cannot accept cheques, cash or American Express.Is there parking nearby?Limited metered parking is available on Mrs Macquaries Road.
