Feel at home anywhere with languages. こんにちは Kon'nichiwa! (Hello!) There are over 125 million Japanese speakers around the world today. Whether you’re interested in watching a Miyazaki film in its original language or talking more with locals beneath the cherry blossoms, on the ski slopes or in the bars in Harajuku, Japanese is one of the most popular and delicate languages to learn today. We invite you to spend a few hours every week in Japan with us, to learn the language of Murakami, Yamauchi, Hanae Mori, and Pokémon. UNSW Global courses are designed to create opportunities for real-life communication practice and connect you with other people who share your interests. Taught by highly qualified native speakers on the UNSW Campus Kensington, evening classes can provide you with the means to achieve fluency in your target language. Did you know: - Japanese has three different writing scripts: Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji! - Writing in characters gives you an entirely different way to illustrate your ideas – learn Japanese and unleash your creativity. This course runs from 9:30am-2:00pm on Saturday mornings for five weeks with a total of 20 hours. UNSW Staff and Students (not including students on international student visas) can request a code for a 25% discount by clicking here. Students who are re-enrolling in Modern Language courses can request a code for a 10% discount by clicking here.
