An advanced guide to curating and designing photobooks

Presented by Christopher Young

Saturday 21 July 2018, 2pm - 5pm

Building upon ideas developed in the beginner's course, this workshop will help participants to further develop their projects. It will look in detail at the specifics of book design, as well as how to work with writers, printers and others. You will collectively workshop each others projects and all participants are expected to actively contribute. Please bring an edited selection of 20-30 images with you as 10 x 15cm prints.

Christopher Young is a New Zealand-born photographic artist and designer. Isolation is a recurring theme in his life and work. Christopher has worked for 22 years in the graphic design and print industries to support his practice and has extensive experience publishing high quality projects.
