Fresh from shows at Tamworth Country Music Festival, Alison Forbes is heading to Django at Camelot to launch her brand new album.
Expressing warm but edgy vocals thrown on a classic country pillow with a dash of bluegrass on the side. Heartfelt, emotive lyrics in a unique country folk style. Allison Forbes has well and truly found her calling – to change the face of Country Music.
Alison walks delicately between alt-country and rock, with songwriting that will have you pondering the songs and their themes long after the final note is heard.
Sydney Alternative Country combo The April Family will be showcasing their unique blend of classic country stylings, with a little blues mixed with 70's West Coast country rock and their tight 3 part harmonies, the show will feature vocalist Kylie Whitney, lead guitarist Casey Atkins and guitarist Michael Carpenter!
