 미국 유학 박람회에서는 미국에서 공부하고 싶어하는 학생들이 최적의 대학을 찾고, 꿈을 이룰 수 있도록 도와드립니다. 커뮤니티 컬리지부터4년제 대학까지 한 번에 둘러보고 현지 학교 관계자 및 전문가들과 직접 마주보고 이야기 나눌 수 있습니다. 유수의 대학교 및 탑 커뮤니티 컬리지의 어드미션 담당자들이 직접 여러분이 지금까지 궁금했던 어드미션 절차, 등록금, 성적우수 장학금에 관해 설명해드립니다.영어 유학 프로그램, 대학 프로그램, 대학원 프로그램에 관심있는 학생들과 학부모님들을 위해 이 프로그램은 무료로 진행됩니다. 10월 19일에 주최되는 미국 유학 박람회에서 참가자들은 각 대학의 담당자와 직접 만나 보시고 미국에서 대학을 다니는 길에 한걸음 가까워질 수 있습니다.

The American Education Expo is the best place to find the perfect U.S. College or University for you. At the Event, you will get the chance to speak face-to-face with admissions officers from some of the top Colleges and Universities and get the answers you need about the admission process, tuition fees, and merit-based scholarship opportunities. The Expo is FREE of charge for students interested in undergraduate, graduate, and English programs. Parents are also encouraged to come and meet the College representatives. You only need one ticket per family.

 미국 유학 박람회는 미국 탑 20대학의 다수가 참여하여 제공하는 프로그램 및 다양한 기회에 대해 자세하게 안내하는 최고의 박람회입니다. 대학 입학사정관이 직접 개개인을 위한 맞춤 상담을 제공합니다. 이 박람회에서는 미국 대학들이 제공하는 다양한 전공들을 살펴보고, 미국에서 공부하기 위해 필요한 과정에 대해 정보를 얻을 수 있습니다.

How can I get a Scholarship?

Most of the Universities offer merit-based scholarships to cover a percentage of the annual fees, but we do not have full scholarships at the event. The participating Universities will be happy to talk to you about their merit-based scholarship programs for international students. To verify your eligibility, we encourage you to bring copies of your report cards, TOEFL scores or any other U.S. standardized test to the Expo. To learn more about how you could get a merit-based scholarship, please come to the fair and speak with the admissions officers directly.

장학금은 어떻게 받을 수 있을까요?

 대부분의 대학교는 성적우수 장학금을 제공합니다. 다만, 이번 이벤트에서는 전액 장학금을 위주로 다루지는 않습니다. 박람회에 참여한 대학교들은 한국인을 포함한 국제 학생을 위한 다양한 성적 우수 장학금 프로그램에 대해 많은 정보를 주고자 합니다. 성적표 및 통지표, 토플 혹은 그 외 미국에서 유효하게 여기는 시험 결과를 박람회에 가져오시면, 입학사정관이 직접 장학금 수혜조건이 되는 지 검토하여 장학금을 받을 수 있도록 필요한 팁을 드립니다. 성적우수 장학금의 폭은 생각보다 넓을 수 있으니, 장학금에 대해 더 많이 알고 싶다면 꼭 참여하여 입학사정관과 직접 이야기해보시길 추천해 드립니다.

What do I need to bring?
Students are not required to bring any documents to the Expo. However, if you bring your SAT/ACT, TOEFL or IELTS scores and your high school transcripts College representatives will give you a better idea of your eligibility for admission and merit-based scholarships. Whether these documents are available or not, you should not miss the opportunity to learn about the Universities and the steps you need to take to be admitted.

지참해야 할 서류가 있나요?

서류를 가져오는 게 필수는 아닙니다. 다만 SAT/ACT, 토플(TOEFL), 아이엘츠(IELTS) 점수표, 고등학교 성적표를 가져온다면, 각 대학의 대표자들이 직접 입학 및 성적 우수 장학금에 대해 더 가까워질 수 있도록 조언을 해드립니다. 서류를 가져올 수 없더라도, 대학교에 대한 정보와 어드미션  절차를 차근차근 안내해드리는 좋은 기회를 놓치지 마시고 꼭 직접 오셔서 들어보세요.

Can my parents come? If I have one ticket, will I need extra ones for my parents?
Parents are always welcome to come and meet with the University representatives. All prospective students need an individual ticket to participate, but parents who are not interested in studying in the U.S. do not need one.  

부모님도 올 수 있나요? 만약 제가 티켓 하나만 갖고 있다면 저희 부모님을 위해서 추가로 티켓을 받아야 하나요?

미국 유학 박람회의 문은 학부모님들께 언제나 열려 있습니다. 미국 유학에 관심 있는 학생들은 개인별로 각각 등록(Registration)을 통해 티켓을 발급받아야 하지만, 미국에서 직접 공부하시고자 하는 학부모님들을 제외하고는 추가 티켓은 필요 없습니다.

Is there a dress code?
We do not require any dress code. You are free to come as you like. But remember, always dress to impress!

드레스코드가 있나요?

특정한 드레스 코드는 없고 원하는 대로 입고 오시면 됩니다. 다만 대학의 입학사정관이 있다는 점을 고려하여, 좋은 인상을 줄 수 있는 옷을 추천해 드립니다.
