American Express Openair Cinemas to Return to Pyrmont

American Express Openair Cinemas will put a spring in Sydneysiders’ step as it returns to Metcalfe Park, right next to the Star Casino this November. Providing access to outdoor screenings beyond the traditional summer months, an exciting program of food and films has been revealed today.
This year’s program will kick off with a special Halloween screening of the terrifying It Chapter Two. In addition, an exciting mix of recent box office hits such as Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Ad Astra as well as highly anticipated new releases including Hustlers, Joker and Zombieland: Double Tap will light up the big screen at dusk.
Little and big kids alike will rejoice at screenings of family films The Lion King, Dora and the Lost City of Gold and Abominable.
American Express Openair Cinemas have always been proud supporters of Australian cinema and will be screening the uplifting Ride Like a Girl, the inspirational true story of Michelle Payne, the first woman to win the Melbourne Cup.
