Amira Medunjanin is a renowned performer of “Sevdalinke”, Bosnian love songs. This year, Amira has been invited to tour New Zealand and Australia and to once again perform at the 2020 National Multicultural Festival held in Canberra. Amira’s vocals will be backed by the guitar and bass sounds of Ante Gelo and Zvonimir Sestak who are also eager to showcase their unique styles to audiences in New Zealand and Australia. This style of music is very popular within the former Yugoslav communities with large venues consistently being sold out, throughout Europe. The songs of this concert are performed in Croatian and Bosnian languages with stories in between songs told in English.
