RTP NSBE JR Interest Meeting and Info Session - Membership Sign Up

Learn more on the specific programs of the Research Triangle Proteges Chapter of NSBE Jr. This is a community chapter that serves Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, NC. However, due to COVID-19, all activities are virtual until further notice. As a community chapter, the focus is on STEM exploration via community activities, cultural awareness, academic performance and college readiness. Our goal for 2020-2021 is to have more consistent member engagement and to expand regular programming. We will adjust programming to accommodate to the virtual platform. It was chartered in Oct 2019 and the first meeting took place in December 2020 at Garner Rd Community Center. RTP NSBE was awarded regionally for the successful achievements made during the first year. An FLL JR Team, the Visionaries, was launched. They attended several expos. Two NSBE Jr members who are now attending college were awarded book scholarships. We hope this chapter can be an incubetor to birth NSBE Jr chapters at area schools.
