Women In Aviation STEM Careers Day BNE 2019

The WOMEN IN AVIATION STEM CAREERS DAY IS THE THIRD ANNUAL BRISBANE MEETING OF LIKE MINDED WOMEN AVIATION PROFESSIONALS- and we want to inspire the next generation! Please come along for 6 hours of AVIATION IMMERSION. There will be aeroplanes to ogle, inspirational talks, and lots of mingling, networking, and opportunities to ask questions. AVIATION PROFESSIONS SHOWCASED INCLUDE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT, pilots, engineers, air traffic control, and AVIATION MEDICINE.Please arrive promptly at 0800 for registration and security screening for an 0830 start. Tickets are strictly limited to 140 participants and will go quickly. Each school is limited to 3 places. If you would like to apply for further tickets, please contact the event organisers. Registrations open June 3 and close August 2.    FAQS   ARE THERE ID OR MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER THE EVENT? Yes- all participants must register with a valid form of identification and bring the same ID with them to the event for checking. Valid identification is an Australian passport, Australian drivers licence, or student ID card.   WHAT ARE MY TRANSPORT/PARKING OPTIONS FOR GETTING TO AND FROM THE EVENT? Limited parking is available at the event. We recommend that school groups carpool or students are dropped off at the event start time.    WHAT CAN I BRING INTO THE EVENT? Limited personal belongings may be brought to the event. We recommend no more than mobile phone, purse and identification. All belongings must be contained in a clear, small bag and will be subjected to a security screening prior to entry. No large bags, including school back packs and handbags, will be permitted entry.
