Anzac Day Parade Brisbane 2020

Anzac Day is an opportunity for the community to come together to recognise and remember the service and sacrifice of members of the Australian Defence Force. Originally a commemoration of the landing of Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (Anzac) forces at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915, Anzac Day has grown into a public expression of acknowledgement and gratitude for all veterans, both retired and still serving.
Since the first Anzac Day anniversary in 1916, Brisbane has continuously commemorated 25 April with the Anzac Day Parade. The annual Parade features former and current ADF veterans, their families, marching bands and various allied service associations.
The 2020 Anzac Day Parade Brisbane will be led by the Australian Army and will recognise the 75th Anniversary of the end of World War II which occurred on 2 September 1945.
The Parade takes place in the Brisbane Central Business District and is free and family friendly. The best position to view the Parade is on Adelaide Street, between George Street and Creek Street. The Parade runs between 10am and 1pm, and vehicle movement will be restricted within the Central Business District from 2am to 2pm.
