“Botanical Watercolors,” an art exhibit by Aline Dickstein.

Aline is a Gardiner resident, Library Trustee and Master Gardener. She first began working in transparent watercolor at The Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. She followed her instructors
to Mohonk Mountain House’s Garden Week where they taught art classes. Several years later she bought a home in Gardiner to grow and paint flowers.
As the former President of the Artists League of Brooklyn she has exhibited at Lever House, the Broome Street Gallery , Brooklyn Union Gas, Brooklyn Technical College and various venues throughout New York City. She has been a Master Gardener for 14 years, and volunteers with the Cornell Cooperative Extension office working on the hot line. She also teaches soil testing and lab procedures to new Master Gardeners.
For the last 6 years Aline has been Friend of the Gardiner Library working on their fund raising projects including the spring plant sale and holiday wreath sale. A year ago she joined the Board of Trustees of the library. All proceeds from this show will benefit the Gardiner Library.
