About the Conference

Join us for ASIC International Conferences 2019 as we bring together leaders in, and advocates for, quality in international education.

The conference will be a comprehensive two-day programme with the Gala Awards Dinner to be held on the evening of the 14th

World-class entertainment and black-tie dinner* on the evening of the 14th. We will be celebrating individuals and institutions for their outstanding contribution to International Education.

Conference Location

This year’s Annual Conference will be held at the InterContinental Kuala LumpurA jewel in the heart of Malaysia, InterContinental Kuala Lumpur is steps away from the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, the city’s Convention Centre and a short walk from countless shopping and entertainment venues.

The stunning city of KL, capital of Malaysia, is home to a vibrant mix of peoples, cultures, and traditions as well as being one of the main business and economic hubs of South-East Asia.

  • Evening meal on 13th

Can I update my registration information?

Yes. To update your registration information, simply email info@asic.org.uk with a copy of your booking confirmation email and the details of what you require to be changed. ASIC will do what we can to get this amended.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes. The registration fee is transferrable; although ASIC does require you to inform us of any name change or delegate change you wish this to apply to immediately and prior to the conference starting. To do this simply email info@asic.org.uk 

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

No, the name on the ticket and registration must match the person attending. To amend delegate details please email info@asic.org.uk prior to the conference beginning.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes. ASIC requires all conference delegates to show their printed ticket on arrival for each day of the conference.

What's the refund policy?

Refunds will be issued up to 7 days prior to the start of the conference. After this date, no refunds will be issued.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

I have specific dietary requirements. What should I do?

Please state any requirements when booking your ticket (in the relevant field) and we will inform the venue. Please e-mail events@asic.org.uk if you have any further questions.

How do I book for the Inspector Training on 15th November?

Please submit your C.V. to Mrs Liesle Hattan, Executive General Manager at liesleh@asic.org.uk for consideration by the ASIC management team. After consideration you may be invited to attend the training during the optional third day (15th) after the conference. Any questions regarding the training can be addressed to Liesle.

How do I book for an ASIC Surgery slot on 15th November?

Further details of how to book a surgery will be provided on your booking confirmation.

Please note: there are no additional costs for the surgeries provided on the third day and all information given by either the ASIC team or the delegates will be subject to the ASIC code of ethics.
