ASIST is the world’s leading suicide intervention workshop. During this two-day interactive session, participants learn to intervene and help prevent the immediate risk of suicide. In ASIST, people learn to apply a suicide intervention model, which helps caregivers recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide. It then explores how to connect with them in ways that understand and clarify that risk, increase their immediate safety, and link them to further help and support. ASIST is suitable for anyone over the age of 18. Whether you’re a community member, a psychologist, or your work or personal life involves you coming into contact with people at risk of suicide, this workshop is for you.
