The Beginners Robotics course is a series of 90-minute workshops run over the course of eight weeks. The sessions run from 10:30am - 12:00pm on Saturday mornings. Due to the uncertain nature of the COVID 19 situation, we cannot guarantee that these workshops will go ahead, however participants will be eligible to take the course at a later time.
The course covers the basics of programming the Arduino microprocessor using Ardublock, a "drag and drop" interface. Participants build and prgram a project each week to understand how to control an Arduino, and to inspire them to create their own inventions.
This course is partnered and subsidised through the Mitcham Library Service. No previous experience is required, and all equipment is provided. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children. (Mature age participants need not bring their parents, unless they really want to.)
