One of the religious classics of the world, the Bhagavad Gita deals with the nature of action, the meaning of life and the eternal struggle between our lower and higher tendencies. The discussion aims to tease out and relate the ancient wisdom of the Gita to our daily life.
Class and discussion led by PRAVRAJIKA GAYATRIPRANA and focussing on the commentary of SWAMI RANGANATHANANDA, a transcription of his classes on the Gita attended weekly by over a 1,000 people and published in the 3 volume set Universal Message of the Bhagavad Gita. (Books provided for reference to every student).
SWAMI RANGANATHANANDA, the late President of the Ramakrishna Order, was a world thinker and cultural ambassador for India, sponsored by the Government to travel to over 50 countries around the world giving lectures.
