Joy Stewart, an industry specialist in organisational communications, will introduce you to the models that Bradfield has adopted to support the college community. These skills and strategies can be used in your day to day interactions whether talking to your child, a teacher, a colleague at work or your partner.
Working with actors in a forum theatre format you will have the opportunity observe how outcomes can be affected by changing the smallest things. You will try different strategies for different scenarios and see the dialogue and transactional models in action.
There will be an opportunity for parent and carers to meet and talk with other parents from 5.30-6.00pm, with the workshop commencing at 6.15pm. Parking will available on site with entry via Westbourne Street.
The event is hosted by Friends of Bradfield, which is our parent body that represents parents and carers. Friends is a charity and is led by an elected parent committee supported by the Director and an Assistant Director of the College.
