You will be provided with a specially produced MBS book that will have sections only relevant to general practice and a seperation of consultations and procedures.
General Attendance Item numbers -
Suitable for both VR and Non-VR Doctors. We work through the common billing mistakes and how to avoid them

Documentation
'If it wasnt documented it didnt happen' - MBS compliance requires medical notes to be written at the time of consultation and to comply with the MBS requirments for the item number billed. We provide you with an easy to follow framework for documentation and billing, as well as shortcuts to save time.

Health Assessment and Care Plans
As the two most audited item numbers these templates and documentation need to be perfected for each item number billed. Understanding the restrictions on co-billing and the allowable co-billing item numbers will assist you with improved billing and rebates for patients. Patient eligibility, goal setting and reveiws are also explained.
Mental Health - Care plans, consultations and telehealth
Carefully produced Mental health care plans can be benefical to both the clincian and the patient. Working within the MBS criteria and maximising the time with patients by utilising all the eigible MBS item numbers will allow the practitioner to provide better health care.
