Bubbles and Cupcake Decorating Workshop

Back by popular demand, we're excited to be teaming up with Baked 180 again to bring back our Bubbles and Cupcake Decorating Workshop!

Come join us for an unforgettable morning of fun, laughter and the sweetest treats on the 4th April where in this 2-hour workshop, the talented Jenny and David from Baked 180 will teach you how to decorate a set of 6 delicious cupcakes to insta-worthy perfection.  

What's included in this workshop: 

• Guidance from Perth’s best cupcakery, including an introduction to the tools and equipment needed and demonstration of the piping and decorating.

• A set of 6 scrumptious, hand-made cupcakes (gluten-free or vegan options available) ready for decorating.

• All materials, decorations and equipment required to decorate your set of cupcakes to insta-worthy style and flair.  

• Indulging on cupcakes. 

• Take-away boxes. While take-away boxes will be provided, we encourage you to please bring your own take-away boxes or tupperware containers to save the environment of more paper and plastic wastage.  Cupcake measurements are estimated at 5.5cm in width and 6.5cm in height to help you find suitable boxes. 

• Free-flowing bubbles for 2 hours.

• Tea & coffee available.

• A heavenly grazing platter.

• Our relaxed and interactive signature social mingling activities to bring on the fun, laughter and get the conversations flowing (even for the shyest person) for you to meet and make new friends.

Where: Wellstrong Collective co-working space, 3/185 Eighth Ave, Inglewood WA 6051

Ticket price: $75 (plus booking fee) - but as always, we do have an early bird special at $70 (plus booking fee), so get your early bird ticket before the 10th March! 

Due to the nature of the workshop and to create an intimate environment, there will be limited tickets available - so don't miss out!

About Baked 180

Baked 180 was born from a love for being your own boss and a passion for baking.

David has always been interested in running his own business. He loves being involved in every aspect, from boring paper work to perfecting a fluent system of product and service.

Jenny loves to bake and has been doing so since she was young. It first started from box mixes, and then she eventually graduated to baking from scratch. Her passion grew from watching baking shows, YouTube, cook books, and blogs.

Both had seen cupcakes as the ‘it’ thing and were growing. Perth had a couple here and there but weren’t as great as they thought it could be. Being in uni, they decided there was no other perfect opportunity to start a home business, to see if it could succeed.

Everything happened so quickly; recipe testing, cupcake eating, research, branding, equipment buying, turning the house upside down to make space. Business took off from attending markets and orders. They soon outgrew the little home oven, and Jenny couldn’t handle the large quantities, since at the time and till this day, David could only help in the kitchen by washing the dishes.

They decided it was time to expand into their first store / commercial kitchen! It wasn’t easy, mistakes were made and lessons learnt. After 6 months of planning, countless revisions and a never-ending mountain of paper work they finally reached their goal – Their very first cupcake store!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

18+ years old. Please bring ID with you as it will be required for entry. 

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is free street parking and good public transport options nearby. 

What do I bring to the event?
