While moderate stress can be a motivating factor, research tells us that high levels of stress can have significant downsides to our health, wellbeing and work performance. Although stress is a fact of life for most of us, we can develop ways to better manage what life throws at us. That way is through building our resilience.
What is Resilience? Resilience is a process of adapting in the face of adversity and bouncing back from difficult experiences. Resilience can protect our wellbeing in the face of stress and thereby helps us perform at our best. The good news is that Resilience can be learnt!
