BUILDING CULTURAL CAPACITIES: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Rights- Youth, Seniors/Elders and People with Disability


Facilitated by Dr Paula Abood and developed in collaboration with local organisations workers and advocates, this interactive forum will support participants to reflect on their own power and develop their professional practice in working with the diversity of their communities.


This forum is for workers and volunteers who engage with communities in the Cumberland LGA and will cover the following ideas and activities:


• Current issues and trends in youth, seniors/elders and people with disability sectors


• Human rights and intersectional approaches in service provision


• Connect and network: engage, exchange, learn


• Community perspectives on leading practices
