The C-Bus Automation Controller Scripting Course is designed to provide the fundamental knowledge required to develop Lua based scripts for use with the C-Bus Automation Controller in a Commercial Application. At the conclusion of this course, you will have identified the skills and knowledge required to develop Lua based scripts for use with the C-Bus Automation Controller.
Formal training time… 1hr eLearning Module followed by 1 day practical.
Primarily for…Electrical Contractors and Apprentices who are required to learn how to perform basic programming of the C-Bus Automation Controller in a Commercial Application using scripting.
You need to have…A strong electrical or technical background and experience using a PC. You are also required to have a valid accreditation for the C-Bus Fundamentals Course and the C-Bus Automation Controller Fundamentals Course.
The C-Bus Automation Controller Scripting Course will cover the following content:
- add Modbus devices,
- exporting to BACnet,
- creating trend logs,
- event based scripts,
- resident scripts,
- common functions,
- user libraries,
- schedules, and
- restoring and backing up scripts.
The C-Bus Automation Controller Scripting Course consists of a 1 hr On-Line module followed by 1 day practical. You will be provided access to the On-Line module within 3 business days prior to attending the in-class component of the course, you must complete this module prior to attending the in-class component of the course.
