Campaigning @ Multicultural Festival to end wage theft + sexual harassment

Talking with Canberrans about the petition to end sexual harassment and wage theft in hospitality at the multi cultural festival

Can you spare a couple of hours to help us reach out to Canberrans and gain support for UnionsACT campaigns to stop wage theft and end sexual harassment? The UnionsACT Young Workers Centre and We Are Union Women Respect is The Rule team will be at the Multicultural Festival.

Join us for a couple of hours, helping out with games and quizzes on a stall or roaming, with petitions and flyers to hand out, as we chat with Canberrans and visitors and raise the profile of, and gain support for these vitally important campaigns. It's easy to do, we'll provide the materials, talking points and support you need and we'll pair you up with another unionist who's also passionate about workers rights and making a difference!
