Changemaker..... An Entrepreneurial Challenge to change the world!

Chanemaker is our new and exciting 2 day social entrepreneurship workshop for 8-13 yr olds who want to make a difference in the world!

From student to Social entrepreneur

The workshops kick off with a meet & greet and presentation from one of Australia's most succesful social entrepreneurs.  Our students will learn how they got started and how they have used business to make an impact in the world.  
Becoming a social pioneer
Once students have had a dose of inspiriation they will be challenged to find a social problem either in their local community, or internationally, and using business as a force fr good- find a way to solve it.  The Project Gen Z team of experts will take students through a journey to discover passions, identify purpose and show them that anything can be achieved with a great vision.

The Changemaker Challenge

Then in teams our students will take part in 'The Dare to Change the World Challenge', a FUN and experiential social entreprise business challenge that will see them develop thier idea, and launch a mini business to make a difference in just 2 days!

Each student will have a role, and will work together to build a social enterprise idea to change the world.  At the end of the second day teams go head to head in a live pitch off event to present thier ideas to the Project Gen Z judges.

Details

For: 8-13 year olds

When: 1st  & 2nd April, 2020

Where: Ferrars Street Education and Community Facility, 129 Ferrars St, Southbank, VIC, 3006

Time: 9am-3.30pm. 

Only 30 places available, early bird tickets available now.

What students leave with;

- Huge amounts of inspiration, motivation and some great new skills to prepare them for highschool and the future of work.
- A Change makers wristband and certificate.

- 2 days of mentoring and coaching from our social entrepreneurs.
- A positive mindset, an increase inconfidence, self belief and business skills.

FAQ's

- Parents are welcome to join us for the pitch off competition which will take place from approx 2pm on 2nd April.

- Students will need to bring own lunch & refreshments.

- Students will need a device (iPad or laptop recommended).

- All facilitators & entrepreneurs have a working with children check.
- Students can be dropped off from 8.30am, and can be picked up anytime up until 4pm.
- 1: 10 childcare ratio.
