With the world's population expected to reach 9 billion by 2050, we need more sustainable ways to deliver nutritious food to our growing population. Bugs are not the only solution, but they certainly are the most provocative. They open a dialogue about how what we eat impacts our bodies and our environment. Join Aly Moore of Bugible to learn about how and why we eat bugs, along with the challenges faced by the entrepreneurs in the space, the public and media response to stigmatized trends, and the power of an open mind to shape communities. The talk will end with a guided tour through the delicate flavor profiles of critters like grasshoppers and bamboo worms.
