Area of Interest: Languages

Feel at home anywhere with languages.

你 好 Nǐ hǎo! (Hello!)

There are over 1 billion Mandarin Chinese speakers worldwide and it is spoken in 10% of homes right here in Sydney. Whether you’re interested in building ties with Australia’s biggest trading partner, or more independently visiting the many ancient and modern wonders beyond the Great Wall, Mandarin is one of the most influential and intriguing languages to learn today.

We invite you to spend a few hours every week in China with us, to learn the language of Confucius, Jack Ma, and Jet Li.

UNSW Global courses are designed to create opportunities for real-life communication practice and connect you with other people who share your interests.

Did you know:

-        Mandarin is a very easy language to learn in several ways – there are no gendered nouns or past and future tenses!

 -        Writing in characters gives you an entirely different way to illustrate your ideas – learn Chinese and unleash your creativity.

This course runs weekly on Saturdays from 9.30am to11.30am for 10 weeks.
