City of Kingston Australia Day 2020 Celebration

The City of Kingston’s newest citizens and Australia Day Award nominees will be celebrated at a free Australia Day celebration on Sunday, 26 January 2020.

You can be there to witness an incredible 100 Kingston residents become Australian citizens. Each citizen brings their own gift of language, culture and tradition to enrich the already diverse Australian society and way of life and we are proud to welcome them to the Kingston community.

The City of Kingson's Australia Day Award Winners for 2020 will also be revealed. The Australia Day Awards categories will include Citizen of the Year and Community Group of the Year, and recognise people who make outstanding contributions to the community.

Australia Day is a great opportunity to reflect on what it means to be Australian, to celebrate contemporary Australia and to acknowledge our history. We hope to see you there!

Doors will open at 8.00am for an 8.45am start and a buffet breakfast will be served at 10.15am.
