Code Like a Girl: Unmanning Aviation (NSW)
What the foxtrot?? There are even less women in aerospace than in tech?!!
That's right. Only 16% of the aircraft, spacecraft, and manufacturing in aerospace is done by women. We thought breaking through the glass ceiling is hard – imagine breaking through the cloud ceiling!
This February, Code Like a Girl is taking to the skies. We'll be launching our 2019 events calendar with another of our favourite coding sisters: Mahla Kafami.Mahla is a Design Engineer at JAR Aerospace. JAR specialise in the training, design, manufacturing and sustainment of high performance Unmanned Aerial Systems! JAR Aerospace has a clear mission – to ignite the Aerospace industry in Australia.
Join us for a one-on-one conversation with Mahla, to explore her journey into tech and hear her experiences as a Design Engineer in the growing Australian Aerospace Industry.
6:15pm: Doors open, grab a drink and some nibbles
6:30pm: Settle in to be welcomed by our host
6:45pm: Hear from Mahla Kafami + time for some questions

8:30pm: CLOSE - sorry ladies, time to say your farewells!
