Collaborate 2020 - Showcasing Project and Program Collaboration Ideas and Opportunities for the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)

  • Do you have a project, program or training that you would like to collaborate with others to deliver?
  • Do have an idea brewing or a program that would be better if it had more reach than just your organisation?
  • Are you wanting to collaborate with others in a particular area?
  • Are you wanting to extend your program to have more capacity, impact and sustainability?
  • Do you have an innovative idea that could have more impact if you could collaborate?
  • Would collaborating help you more effectively achieve supporting older people to live independently in their home for longer?
  • Are you looking for a cross-sector collaboration or opportunities to support how you support older people?

Then this Eastern Collaborative Project Regional Forum is for you to either present or attend.

Attendees include: RAS and ACAT Assessor, CHSP Service Providers, Sector Support, Brokerages, Private Organisations, Private Practitioners, Training Organisations.

We hope that by attending the Collaborate 2020 Eastern Collaborative Project Regional Forum as either an attendee or presenter will:

  • Add value to the aged sector by promoting working together
  • Create and strengthen partnerships and networks
  • Create and support collaborative projects, programs and opportunities
  • See and engage with new and innovative ideas
  • Strengthen best practice in wellness and reablement practices, methods and approaches
  • Provide more opportunities to strengthen the delivery of home support services for older people

Entertaining 5-minute pitches will showcase the opportunities for collaboration or organisations wanting to engage in collaborative projects with the CHSP in the Eastern Region.

Call for Presentations NOW OPEN

If you like to present at the Collaborate 2020 February Eastern Collaborative Regional (ECP) Forum and have one of the following:

  • a program or opportunity you wish to collaborate on, and be looking for partners or organisations to work
  • a wish to collaborate in a particular area (but don’t have a project), and are looking for partners or organisations to work
  • an innovative new program, training idea or workshop that you wish to link or collaborate with organisations and their clients

Then this is for you. There are limited spaces available to provide a 5-minute presentation pitch about your opportunity or how you would like to connect.

Instructions for presentation submissions

Presentation can be from Service Providers, Sector Support, Cross-sector organisations or other organisation that provide services, support or opportunities for older people, CHSP recipients, service providers or sector support organisations that service the CHSP Eastern Aged Care Region.

It is hoped that all presentation submissions can be presented, however if required, the applications will be assessed by the ECP Executive Committee and will consider aspects such as mix of topics and opportunities. The opportunities not presented will be able to provide flyers during the networking on the day.

Presentation topics can include:

  • All CHSP Service Types
  • Private programs that can be delivered to CHSP organisations
  • Training
  • Wellness
  • Reablement
  • Documentation

This is an excellent opportunity for organisations, sector support and service providers to build networks and partnerships; and explore ways of working and linking together to support the ‘whole’ client to live more independently at home.

How to Submit your Registration to Present

Email an outline of your pitch presentation* (title, 200-300 word blurb) to Helen.Carmichael@rdns.org.au.

Note: Pitch Presenters Registration is from 12:30pm

*Presentation Guide

  • Pitch Presenters are encouraged to go beyond traditional presentation styles; instead, the aim is to be creative and consider different kinds of handouts or props, products that can be demonstrated, photographs, or perhaps even a physical demonstration.
  • Presenters will have a maximum of 5-minutes to pitch or give an overview of their achievements and project/program aims. If you wish for more time, please contact the ECP Collaborative Project Officer by email to discuss.
