Community Storytelling workshop - State Library Victoria 2

As part of the Advocate project, libraries are being encouraged to collect and share stories from their community members highlighting how libraries have made a difference to their lives. But how do libraries go about approaching community members and supporting them to tell their stories?

Lara McKinley from The Story Connection will show Victorian public library staff how to find and recognise great community stories, encourage community members to tell their stories and video these stories for use in social media and other advocacy projects.
