Free Ukulele Session! (Beginners welcomed)

This weekly event is for ukulele beginners who want to strum and sing in a relaxed and informal group setting. If you are new to musical instruments, this is a perfect opportunity to learn some practical skills quickly and in a supportive environment. if you don't have a ukulele, spare ukuleles can be reserved (via www.meetup.com/Melbourne-Ukulele-Community). We meet weekly so do check the website for the "Theme of the Week" and for any last-minute updates. Please note that there are usually no sessions during school holidays.

Typically, there are over 20 people at every session, and about one third are beginners. If you are a complete beginner, the most important part of the session is the first 30 minutes where I go through some basics.  The session is free-of-charge, but there is a donation box at the front if you want to contribute to our operational expenses.
