ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

Canva is a free design tool that makes it possible for anyone to learn how to create beautiful marketing materials and social media graphics.
Over 400 million designs have been created using Canva which comes as no surprise as it is one of the easiest design tools on the market (and did I mention that it’s FREE!?).
This workshop is a beginner's guide to using Canva and we will focus on teaching you how to create eye-catching designs for your business's social media channels.
This workshop will cover:

• Why use Canva for small business
• How to open a free Canva account
• A beginner's guide to navigating the Canva interface
• How to start making your own designs and creating social media graphics for Facebook and Instagram
• Tricks & tips for designing on Canva to save you time and help you become a pro in no time!

This will be an interactive workshop and you will need to bring your laptop (fully charged) with a notepad and pen.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:

Kasia McNaught is a passionate digital marketer and communications consultant with over 13 years of experience working with businesses across digital, traditional and outdoor media. 

In July 2016, Kasia founded McNaught Media, a boutique digital marketing consultancy specialising in social media management and content creation.
She manages client campaigns and provides digital literacy training to business owners through individual and group coaching.
Kasia was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and migrated to Perth with her family in 2001. She was the recipient of an academic and music scholarship for Penrhos College, where she completed TEE in 2003. Kasia was a student at UWA and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Italian.
