Performer Info:

WORLDS COLLIDE was created in 2016 and launched on a Carpark Roof in Parramatta for the Sydney Sacred Music Festival. Worlds Collide is an Urban fusion that invites audiences to move their bodies to the new sounds of Western Sydney. A fusion of hip hop rhythms, electronic beats with live percussion and heavy metal guitars. A mix of Ice T, Fela Kuti and KISS.

The thumping grooves are the foundation for the leftist social conscious lyrics from the streets of Mt Druitt by Esky the Emcee. Look out for them at your next Protest Rally, Club or Block Party.

The SYDNEY WORLD MUSIC CHAMBER ORCHESTRA, developed in 2014 from musicians from diverse faith and cultural backgrounds to create an Orchestra that melds classical strings, dervish rhythms, Latin rhythms and intimate melodies to smash conservative music conventions and create a dynamic journey.

This 11 piece ensemble is unique, blessed with 7 lead vocalist, master instrumentalists, a string section and includes traditions from Aboriginal Australia, Mongolia, Uyghur, Vietnam, China, Croatia, Iran (and more).

New music is created and performed in diverse languages (including English), from fusions of ancient traditions to contemporary 4 min songs. The Orchestra have recently performed and held workshops in regional NSW and are waiting to take the International Festival circuit by storm.

BLUE MARY uplifts and celebrate our diverse spiritual and cultural identity through their music. Blue Mary (Maria Mitar) creates a sacred world pop sound, embedded in storytelling based on interviews with local women and communities, collaborating with artists from diverse cultural backgrounds
