Designed for high-school and university students interested in medicine, this is a unique opportunity to learn valuable medical and surgical skills, speak 1-1 with doctors and medical students, and put yourself on a path to a successful career as a doctor.

Delivered by current medical students, the Medicine Experience Day will include:

• Medical school – an introduction!
• A career in medicine (career timeline, specialties)
• Medicine admissions pathways
• Day in the Life of a Medical Student
• Workshops (clinical skills, surgical skills)
• Comprehensive and unique tips on successfully gaining admission into Medical school delivered by recent top medical school entrants.
• The opportunity for 1:1 Q&A with medical students

While this is an event aimed for prospective medical students, parents and family are strongly encouraged to attend!

Time: 9:00am-1:30pm (8:45am arrival)

Location: University of Technology Sydney, 1 Quay St, Haymarket Building 5, Block C

Cost: $10.00

Please note:

the Student ticket includes participation in our clinical workshops, while the General Admission tickets do not. We ask that attendees please consider the suitability of these workshops when purchasing these tickets, and that young children do not participate due to the use of sharp materials.

Due to the use of sharps in workshop activities, students wishing to participate will need to have a consent form signed at the event. These will be available from MedView staff on the day.
