Dementia Education & Training for Carers is coordinated by the Commonwealth Respite & Carelink Centre Metro North and supports people who are caring for their family member or friend with dementia.

Carers WA

You may now be aware that from April this year the Australian Government will be launching a range of new carer supports.

Carers can continue to get support through their usual service providers and will be supported to access the new Carer Gateway service providers from April 2020.

Carers WA will be providing information on how the new supports work, including how to access them, and who will provide them in your area. Carers WA will also answer any questions you have regarding the new carer supports.

The presentation will be followed by a light lunch.
