This is a two day leadership and regional strategic workforce planning program.

We invite people from domestic and family violence, sexual assault and women’s health and wellbeing services to join us for this two day Leadership and Strategic Workforce Planning program. Leadership is critical in driving change however people working at all levels are encourage to attend.

The Healing Foundation in partnership with Australia’s National Research Organisation for Women’s Safety is working with the sector on initiatives to better support workers and their clients through the delivery of the Queensland Domestic and Family Violence Workforce Service.

The new state-wide service brings together best practice in workforce planning and development and will deliver quality workforce strategies informed by a strong evidence base and Aboriginal and Torres Strait cultural leadership.

This two day program is designed to enable us to understand the past, to analyse the present and to dream the future. We invite you to join us to:

• Share your experience in the sector: your ideas, your needs, your frustrations, and your vision for change.

• Influence the design and implementation of a workforce plan for your region and be pivotal to the change process.

• Engage in strategic thinking to co-create a vibrant, effective, coordinated response to domestic and family violence service provision.

• Gain valuable skills and knowledge in workforce planning to benefit your role and own organisation.

We look forward to working with you to create a plan to develop a workforce with the right people with the right skills in the right places, interacting in the right way and supported by appropriate structures to meet future needs.

The Queensland Domestic and Family Violence Workforce Service is funded by the Queensland Government.
