Between 1847 and 1853, Charles Brentani was a noticeable character around Melbourne, with Brentani finding himself at the centre of the discovery of gold in Victoria. Today, few have heard of him and his extraordinary life. Join Douglas Wilkie, author and honorary fellow at the University of Melbourne, for this fascinating presentation about Victoria’s golden past.
