Downtown101 walk

It´s a walk with a friend through Vallarta´s most traditional and historic neighborhood. We will walk the busy and the little streets, while talking about everyday Vallarta.

​You´ll experience daily life in the oldest part of town, the neighborhood where it all started about 150 years ago. A (not so quiet) quiet neighborhood that offers something for everyone to enjoy. Watch, listen, smell and learn. There are lots of picture opportunities and unique spots and activities to discover.

In the morning or at sunset, experience Vallarta by the hand of a proud local.  

Highlights

• Beautiful landmark spots, such as the Malecon, the Church of Guadalupe, the Central Square, Gringo Gulch, the Municipal Flea Market and Los Arcos Amphitheater. Plus many hidden gems :)

It´s about 3 hours and about 3 miles, give or take.

How much
The walk is free. However, as a gratuity, You Pay What You Want.

At the end of the walk, if you are happy, you contribute with the amount per person (in pesos or dollars) you feel is right. We will make sure you feel it’s worth every penny. 

Reservations are made on the honor system. You are making an honest commitment to attend a limited capacity group. Up to 12 people.

Where
We meet at Parque Hidalgo, a popular city landmark located downtown at the beginning of the famous Malecon. And we walk from there.
