Driving into Hollywood for the biggest, most important meeting of his life, Brody remembers his boyhood in Schuylerville, New York where he carried around comics tucked into “Crime and Punishment” and was a regular visitor to the principal’s office for challenging his teachers about the superiority of democracy.
