Engaging adolescents using therapeutic play and the creative arts is a masterclass developed for Mental Health Care, Social Care, and Education Professionals who would like to gain introductory knowledge in engaging with adolescents using therapeutic concepts. This experiential professional development Masterclass is offered over 1 day, on a face-to-face basis with integration of practical skills development using play, expressive materials, case scenarios and role-plays. Practical skills focus on humanistic ways of being where participants learn, for example, to implement careful observation, follow the young persons’ lead, use child friendly language including framing questions as statements and limit setting.
Participants will receive resources on USB stick.
All participants who complete all aspects of the program will receive an attendance Certificate.
