The Centre for Global Food and Resources, University of Adelaide invites Australian agribusinesses and industry bodies to attend a workshop on food and beverage exports to China. The workshop will communicate findings from the project ‘Understanding parallel trade of Australian products to China’ funded by the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources under the Agricultural Trade and Market Access Cooperation programme. The objectives of the project are to understand the current parallel imports of Australian products to China through Daigou, investigate Chinese consumers’ preferences for Australian food and beverage products, and explore Daigou’s role (as well as associated risks) in distributing and promoting Australian food and beverage products in China.

A light lunch and refreshments will be provided. Attendance is free and places are limited to 50.
