This free two day course is suitable for people who know or care for a person with dementia (not suitable for people with a diagnosis of dementia). It is designed to give an understanding of dementia, what happens to a person when they develop dementia and how to communicate with and support a person with dementia.

Each workshop will consist of two days from 10:00am - 3:30pm (lunch provided). Day one is ‘Understanding Dementia’ and Day two will focus on ‘Living with Dementia’. Maximum benefit is achieved by attending both days.

Please note that registration is essential.
